Here at Utah Crankshaft we rebuild crankshafts, motors, and cylinders. Let’s take a look at pricing.

(We stock over 1000 re-plated cylinders and hundreds of rebuilt crankshafts).

We rebuild PRESS APART crankshafts only, (crankshafts with connecting rods that bolt on we don’t service). We can re-sleeve and bore/hone/chamfer cast iron bore cylinders, if you are unsure whether or not your crankshaft is a press apart or bolt on/your cylinder is plated or sleeved, give us a call or email.

Crankshaft pricing – prices are subject to change depending on condition of crankshaft.

Single crankshafts: (2 stroke dirtbike crankshafts, atv, utv, etc) range around $125-$150 + cost of connecting rod. Snowmobile twin cylinder crankshafts (Polaris, Arctic cat, Yamaha, Ski-Doo etc) range around $550-$800. Triple cylinder crankshafts can be rebuilt from $800-$1200 to rebuild.

Cylinder pricing – prices are subject to change depending on condition of cylinder

We can re-sleeve, bore, hone, and chamfer almost any cylinder (no blind hole cylinders). If your cylinder needs to be RE-PLATED (Nikasil plating) we can get you taken care of. Re-plating cost is $350-$700 and takes around a month to send out, get re-plated, and have it come back to us. Bore/hone/chamfer ranges from $125-$150 PER HOLE + cost of piston(s). Re-sleeving ranges around $250 PER HOLE (includes bore/hone/chamfer) + cost of piston(s) and sleeve(s). Honing only is $35 PER HOLE. Sandblast only is $25-$40 PER HOLE depending on size of cylinder etc.

Shortblock pricing – prices are subject to change depending on condition of cylinder

We can rebuild almost any 2 stroke engines, but we mainly rebuild snowmobile and jet ski 2 stroke engines. Cost is entirely dependent on the condition of the engine. For snowmobile engines the cost can vary from $2200-$3400. For jet ski engines and dirt bike engines call for a quote. We typically will not rebuild a dirt bike or jet ski engine during the winter season, but we can always check availability.
